Sunset Jesus

It’s been a long time since I last saw you

From the glass window, when the sky was blue

Well we could have met again today

As I know you work every Wednesday.

You don’t know much about me

Apart from “that girl who ain’t bound by norms in society”

I don’t know much about you

All I know is your inspiring views.

Too bad I don’t intend to know you more

I keep on thinking I’m too busy to open another door

Shame on you, haha, you’re missing out

There is a different someone behind some dope Instagram account.

I think you’re pretty cool too, and I’ll tell you why

More than just a blonde haircut and an outstanding height

You’re the one who prays to the Lord and always tries his best

The kind of person that says hi to 10 folks within his 3 steps.

(Sorry I could think of other things to talk about you babe

But I wouldn’t want to sound like a fangirl, or maybe it’s too late?)

Seems like everyone likes to be your friend

Everyone, except for me, it’s always a dead end

Shyness kills me, if only you knew

Although I fake it till I make it, and you like that, don’t you?

Still not sure if this is an admiration or a crush

Anyhow, it is a nice feeling I haven’t felt in ages

You inspire me to be a better person

To feel so light-hearted writing this poem.

“God bless you, wherever you go.”
